Excellent location, very convenient for the Central Station and 20 mins walk to the city centre. It is very basic but clean. I gave 2 star to the sleep quality because, although the bed was ok, the plastic mattress protector made for uncomfortable sleeping. The staff at reception was very friendly and helpful while we were there. But we forgot something in our room and when we called, first they said they found it, then they denied having found it (still unresolved). I gave 2 stars for value because we stayed in similar range of hotels in other places for less money. Still, I would recommend it, if on a budget. Do not take the breakfast - you can get a much better option at a nearby branch of Le Pain Quotidien, where you can have excellent coffee for the same price (litearlly 2 min. walk from the hotel).

I was there with my colleagues. Our general opinion is that hotel room are like from IKEA store. But I like it.Just a suggestion that choice of food for breakfast could be extended.I was happy that I can still get a smoking room which is not so often.

The "hotel" looks land feels like a rebranded hostel. The amenity, layout and cleanness are pretty much on par with the hostels I have stayed in Europe in the past. The bathroom was quite dirty and the towels were not that clean (i.e., worn out spots on towel and hairs on bathroom floor). The hotel staffs were polite but not particularly useful. The price was quite reasonable and the location is decent. It worked well for us as we were only in Antwerp for 1/2 day for a short trip by train. If you want cheap hotel room, stay in a hostel. If you want basic hotel service, go for a real budget hotel.

This hotel is quite basic but well kept. This was a long business trip so my chioce was based soley on price and location. If you spend a lot of time in the hotel on a trip maybe this is not for you. But if you are looking for a good price with a suberb location I highly recommend a stay here.

Ibis Express Antwerp is convenient for the Central Station, modern, clean and excellent value. There are sufficient restaurants close by to suit most tastes and a small supermarket next door. One of the best Budget hotels I've stayed in.

The room is spartan, but clean and efficient. The location is close to the east exit of the train station. There was only one person working at the reception desk when I arrived. There was a line of people waiting to check in or out. The lone receptionist was very professional dealing with the requirements of each person, but it was apparent that two people should have been working at reception. There are numerous restaurant choices just outside the south exit of the train station.

Like the name says, it is basic, but it has all you need.Pros-Looks new/refurbished (modern)-Very clean-Very close to the train station (Antwerp Central) and to the city bikes hire which are great to get around the city from the hotels location (Velo Antwerpen)Cons-Not the nicest area, but fine-A lot of noise in the hotel room passages (though maybe that was just my luck with the neighbours)-Bed was not that comfortable as it was a little hard, but had worseOverall, I would definitely recommend it if you just want somewhere reasonable priced to stay and don't care so much about the luxuries

The staff at this hotel were tremendously helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they even made arrangements for us to store the bikes off the back of our car in the basement. The room was clean and tidy as you would expect and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel is in a handy location for the centre of town and the architecturally magnificent railway station. There is a handy underground public carpark and nearby supermarket.

Well situated, close to the central station, with tram stops at each end of the road taking you straight into the centre of town. The hotel is basic but has everything you need, it is kept clean and in good condition.

After finding a parking place 1 km away we eventually got to the hotel, the noise from outside was terrible and kept us awake all night, when first arrived we asked where we could park and was told it was pot luck, we were then given our room numbers and told that the room was ours if we were able to find adequate parking if not have a good onward journey.

An excellent, very clean and friendly hotel near the centre of the city. Easy parking underground (but a little expensive) with possibility of free parking in streets. Good bistro opposite so no need to go far. Definitely recommended.

I was traveling with a couple of friends thru Belgium and we found this hotel in internet after being looking for something affordable, so we decide to give it a chance (and we didn't regret at all). It is placed at the train station (after a little walk) and at the very center of Antwerpen. Rooms are nice, clean and with the basics that everybody needs: wc, sink and a funny shower with crazy lights that changed according waters' temperature. Breakfast was not included at the rate, it cost a 7 euros extra each the buffet and we ate everything we could.
