Ibis Express Antwerp is convenient for the Central Station, modern, clean and excellent value. There are sufficient restaurants close by to suit most tastes and a small supermarket next door. One of the best Budget hotels I've stayed in.

The room is spartan, but clean and efficient. The location is close to the east exit of the train station. There was only one person working at the reception desk when I arrived. There was a line of people waiting to check in or out. The lone receptionist was very professional dealing with the requirements of each person, but it was apparent that two people should have been working at reception.There are numerous restaurant choices just outside the south exit of the train station.

Like the name says, it is basic, but it has all you need.Pros-Looks new/refurbished (modern)-Very clean-Very close to the train station (Antwerp Central) and to the city bikes hire which are great to get around the city from the hotels location (Velo Antwerpen)Cons-Not the nicest area, but fine-A lot of noise in the hotel room passages (though maybe that was just my luck with the neighbours)-Bed was not that comfortable as it was a little hard, but had worseOverall, I would definitely recommend it if you just want somewhere reasonable priced to stay and don't care so much about the luxuries

The staff at this hotel were tremendously helpful, nothing was too much trouble, they even made arrangements for us to store the bikes off the back of our car in the basement.The room was clean and tidy as you would expect and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.The hotel is in a handy location for the centre of town and the architecturally magnificent railway station. There is a handy underground public carpark and nearby supermarket.

Well situated, close to the central station, with tram stops at each end of the road taking you straight into the centre of town. The hotel is basic but has everything you need, it is kept clean and in good condition.

After finding a parking place 1 km away we eventually got to the hotel, the noise from outside was terrible and kept us awake all night, when first arrived we asked where we could park and was told it was pot luck, we were then given our room numbers and told that the room was ours if we were able to find adequate parking if not have a good onward journey.

An excellent, very clean and friendly hotel near the centre of the city. Easy parking underground (but a little expensive) with possibility of free parking in streets. Good bistro opposite so no need to go far. Definitely recommended.

I was traveling with a couple of friends thru Belgium and we found this hotel in internet after being looking for something affordable, so we decide to give it a chance (and we didn't regret at all). It is placed at the train station (after a little walk) and at the very center of Antwerpen. Rooms are nice, clean and with the basics that everybody needs: wc, sink and a funny shower with crazy lights that changed according waters' temperature. Breakfast was not included at the rate, it cost a 7 euros extra each the buffet and we ate everything we could.

I went for a short trip to antwerp/ghent/brugge during christmas with my wife. we stayed in Etap, antwerp for a single night. the location of the hotel was amazingly close to the centraal station, the ambience was good, good cozy clean rooms and not to mention we got a sweet x-mas discount deal. overall it was a very good experience.!
